Marissa is a Partner at BAL, based in the Denver office. Drawing on over a decade of experience, she works with clients to design and implement strategic, innovative workforce solutions. Partnering with employers across a diverse range of industries, Marissa crafts competitive immigration policies to enhance the recruitment and retention of top-tier talent. She helps clients design scalable immigration programs, navigate complex workforce mobility challenges and align immigration strategies with broader business objectives. Marissa’s expertise spans the range of employer-sponsored immigration, with a particular focus on higher education, finance, healthcare and employers growing their U.S. operations. Marissa is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She regularly speaks and publishes on the practical impacts of immigration law and policy changes. Prior to entering private practice, Marissa worked for the U.S. Department of Justice. Outside of work, Marissa enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, two kids and two cats.
