LaQuanda is an Associate in BAL’s Tysons office, working on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. She is a subject matter expert in immigration law with specific knowledge of federal processes for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, including H-1B, TN and L-1. LaQuanda manages support staff outputs, including workload analysis and strategy planning, service level timeline adherence, training and fostering open communication. She also identifies trends in federal regulations and helps implement new strategies for responding to requests for evidence and notices of intent to deny. Prior to joining BAL, LaQuanda was an attorney at a global immigration law firm, managing and overseeing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing. She also served as the U.S. immigration operations manager at a Fortune 500 company, where she worked for over nine years implementing and aligning U.S. business immigration operations at a global scale, maintaining vendor governance and providing daily supervision of an in-house immigration team. In her free time, LaQuanda enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
