Katherine Del Rosario

Katherine is an Associate in BAL’s Chicago office. Her practice covers both nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based matters, namely H-1B and PERM.

Before joining BAL, Katherine built her career at several leading immigration law firms and nonprofit organizations in Chicago. She has represented a diverse range of employers, from new startups to established multinational corporate clients, and helped families stay together to build a brighter future in the United States.

Katherine’s path to immigration law was sparked by her own personal experiences. Born to Filipino immigrants who were active in the movement against the Marcos dictatorship, she was attuned to the importance of people-powered change. As a young adult, she saw it firsthand as her undocumented peers fought hard for the creation of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. As an attorney, Katherine carries a deep respect for the culture, history and dignity of her clients.
