Jowanda Jones

Jowanda is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Tysons office, where she advises multinational corporations and medium-sized businesses on all aspects of employment-based immigration and program management.

Jowanda has extensive experience with a wide range of nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B, H-1B1, TN, J-1 and E-3 visas. Additionally, she is well-informed about consular processing, compliance matters, PERM labor certification applications and adjustment of status filings. Jowanda is also skilled in responding to complex government requests, mergers and acquisitions, and navigating clients through complex immigration issues with the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Prior to joining BAL, Jowanda worked as a senior managing attorney at a global corporate immigration firm, handling a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters for Fortune 500 corporations.
