Jose Leonardo Puga

Jose is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office, managing employment-based immigration matters. He specializes in the permanent labor certification (PERM) process for clients in the technology sector.

Prior to BAL, Jose worked as an attorney at a multipractice law firm handling various employment-based visas, including EB-1, EB-2 national interest waiver, H-1B, TN, E-2 and L-1. In this role, he also represented clients before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in employer discrimination cases. Previously, he worked as an international business analyst, helping foreign corporate clients and foreign nationals navigate U.S. investment and employment.

Outside of work, Jose enjoys casual runs, reading and going to the movies.
