Jason is a Partner in BAL’s Dallas office and serves as Head of Global Programs. With more than 20 years of specialized experience in global corporate immigration, mobility strategy and cross-border compliance, Jason is responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision, operational excellence and international expansion of the firm’s Global Programs pillar. Before joining BAL, Jason served as the senior vice president and senior partner at a global immigration service company. Over 16 years, he managed an international team of attorneys and senior researchers and acted as the primary strategic immigration advisor for multinational employers worldwide, including Fortune 10, Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, Jason has guided organizations through complex corporate restructurings, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He has designed and implemented global mobility programs and short-term assignment frameworks, developed robust right-to-work and posted-worker compliance programs across numerous jurisdictions — including Europe, Asia, Latin America and beyond — and successfully assisted clients in immigration enforcement proceedings. Jason is also the creator of practical, country-specific employer guidebooks and compliance resources, and he has delivered both in-person and virtual training to HR, mobility and leadership teams around the world. He regularly advises on new and emerging challenges and evolving regulatory environments. Earlier in his career, Jason held immigration and compliance positions at several prominent firms, overseeing high-volume expatriate work authorization processes and assisting in the development of firmwide policies on international business travel, employment eligibility and cross-border immigration risk. Jason is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is an avid sports fan, is always ready for a new travel adventure and enjoys capturing life’s moments through photography.
