Jannette Romero

Jannette is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Chicago office. She advises clients on all aspects of U.S. employment-based immigration law, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. Jannette has worked with clients across various industries, including technology, manufacturing, agriculture and consulting, to develop immigration programs that support workforce mobility, top talent acquisition and compliance.

Prior to joining BAL, Jannette worked as a senior attorney at a global immigration law firm, where she managed numerous high-volume immigration programs and advised corporations on complex immigration matters. She takes a collaborative and practical approach to client service, partnering with clients to understand their business objectives and clearly communicating immigration options and risks to support informed decision-making.

Outside of work, Jannette enjoys traveling with her husband and two kids, reading and baking.
