Jagruti Jokhaker

Jagruti is an Associate in BAL’s Tysons office, working on nonimmigrant employment-based visas, including H-1B, TN and requests for evidence.

Jagruti has over a decade of experience in immigration law. She has a comprehensive understanding of both employment-based and family-based immigration processes. As a child of immigrants, Jagruti approaches every client with empathy, strategic rigor and a commitment to clear communication. Prior to BAL, she served as in-house counsel for a staffing company, managing a wide range of employment-based visas and ensuring compliance with evolving immigration regulations. Jagruti began her career working extensively on family-based immigration matters and asylum cases, gaining deep insight into complex humanitarian and family-driven petitions.

In her free time, Jagruti enjoys cooking and traveling — activities that inform her deep appreciation of different cultures and global perspectives.
