Heather is an Associate in BAL’s Austin office, focusing exclusively on employment-based immigration law. She has extensive experience working on a wide array of nonimmigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-3 and TN petitions. She is also highly experienced in handling PERM labor certifications, I-140 petitions in the EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 categories, and adjustment of status applications. Heather has worked with corporate clients in various industries, including biotech, semiconductor, oil and gas, agriculture and information technology.

Prior to BAL, Heather worked at a boutique business immigration firm in Austin as an associate attorney for five years, handling a variety of nonimmigrant petitions, immigrant petitions and adjustment of status applications. She was responsible for responding to all requests for evidence, notices of intent to deny, requests for further information and audits on behalf of clients.

Heather is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, running, learning to play guitar and traveling.
