Graciela is an Associate at BAL’s New York office. She advises clients on all aspects of employment-based U.S. immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. Before joining BAL, Graciela worked at various business immigration and family-based immigration law firms, where she advised clients across industries, including technology, healthcare, finance, engineering and hospitality. Coming from an immigrant family herself, she offers a unique perspective and deep empathy for the challenges foreign nationals face throughout the immigration process. Graciela is dedicated to providing clients and their employees with a smooth and positive experience by leading with compassion and professionalism. Graciela also worked as a law clerk and later as an associate in family-based immigration law firms. She has experience in humanitarian immigration matters such as asylum, withholding of removal, Violence Against Women Act, U visas and T visas. She has argued humanitarian and family-based petitions before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, defending both detained and non-detained adults and children. Outside of work, Graciela spends her time with her spouse, four children and extended family. She enjoys playing sports with her kids, traveling and finding new, everyday adventures together. She is passionate about art and design.
