Fatima is a Staff Attorney in BAL’s Dallas office, where she advises corporate clients on employment-based immigration matters. She handles a broad range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases, including H-1B, TN, O-1, EB-1, EB-2 and adjustment of status. Fatima collaborates closely with HR representatives and company stakeholders to navigate complex immigration processes, ensuring compliance and strategic workforce mobility. Prior to joining BAL, Fatima practiced law in both the U.S. and Canada, gaining experience in immigration, corporate and family law. She previously worked as an attorney managing U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services applications, drafting legal memoranda and advising clients on complex immigration matters. Fatima holds an LL.M. with a concentration in business law from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she received the Commercial Law Award, and a J.D. from the University of Windsor. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and Ontario, Canada.
