Eric is an Associate in BAL’s New York office, representing regional employers and large international companies on all aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, and helping employers and companies navigate the complexities of retaining a foreign workforce. Prior to BAL, Eric worked as an associate attorney for several years at a firm based in Minneapolis, handling employment-based immigration cases. He also worked as an associate attorney at an immigration firm based in San Francisco, handling removal defense and asylum cases and representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Additionally, Eric worked as a Robina postgraduate fellow at a human rights organization based in Minneapolis, providing pro bono representation to detained asylum seekers. Eric is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Texas State Bar Association’s Immigration and Nationality Law Section and the International Association of Korean Lawyers. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, writing movie reviews, running, traveling, trivia nights and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars and Texas Longhorns.
