Edward is a Partner in BAL’s Boston office. His practice focuses on global immigration strategies and technology implementation for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies in technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and life sciences.

As a senior leader of the Innovation and Strategy group, Edward identifies opportunities to transform how BAL approaches, invests in and embeds technology in the legal process. Edward combines his expertise in law and technology to support mobility programs that offer a superior experience for clients and their employees.

He is a frequent speaker at legal and tech industry events, including Legalweek, SHRM, WERC and IAweek, on the topics of practice automation and efficiency, leveraging AI in professional services and other innovative uses of technology in the practice of law.

Edward is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, as well as a former member of the AILA Board of Governors and Chair of the Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico Chapter. He is currently ranked in the Chambers USA Massachusetts Guide, previously ranked in the Chambers USA Texas Guide and has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2010.
