Claudia Vanessa Cubias-Porrua

Claudia is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office. She works on a wide range of employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1 and PERM.

Prior to joining BAL, Claudia practiced immigration law at a Texas law firm, where she managed a high-volume caseload, supervised paralegals and mentored attorneys. She represented individuals and families in complex immigration matters, with a focus on family-based petitions, naturalization and citizenship, humanitarian relief and removal defense. Claudia has extensive experience guiding clients through immigration court, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Claudia is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is committed to serving her community through pro bono work.
