Cheryl is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Chicago office. Her practice focuses on managing all aspects of employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant cases for multinational corporations across various industries. Cheryl also provides strategic guidance in corporate acquisitions and restructuring, reductions in force and successor-in-interest scenarios, as well as ancillary employment immigration matters such as I-9 compliance, E-Verify, Department of Labor audits and government site visits.

Cheryl is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and currently serves as chair of the business track for the AILA Midwest regional conference taking place in Chicago in March 2026. During law school, her student note was published in the Chicago-Kent Journal of International and Comparative Law, where she served as articles editor. She also served as a judicial extern for Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and completed a one-year legal externship in the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of the Chief Counsel, where she gained invaluable experience in the most complex areas of immigration.
