Cara Chang

Cara is a Staff Attorney in BAL’s Santa Clara office. She has experience working on a wide range of employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including PERM, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2 national interest waiver, EB-3, O-1 and L-1 petitions. She regularly assists clients with adjustment of status processes, including interview preparation and representation.

Prior to BAL, Cara practiced immigration law at boutique and global firms, where she worked with individuals and employers across a broad spectrum of employment-based immigration matters. She also has experience advising on family-based and humanitarian cases, including Violence Against Women Act petitions, inadmissibility waivers and matters involving criminal history.

Cara is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She enjoys traveling internationally, reading and spending time with her cat, Wasabi.
