Anthony Montaño

Anthony is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office, working on employment-based immigration cases, including nonimmigrant visas (H, L, O and P), PERM and adjustment of status.

Prior to BAL, Anthony founded and managed a private law practice in New York City, where he represented clients before immigration court. He successfully won asylum and other types of immigration relief for clients before immigration judges. Before opening his practice, Anthony was a junior associate at a major immigration law firm.

Anthony is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Immigration Project, the American Immigration Counsel and the Immigration Advocates Network. He is also a U.S. Army veteran, serving nearly 18 years in overseas combat tours.

Outside of work, Anthony is a judo practitioner and competitor. He also enjoys snowboarding and traveling internationally to explore ski resorts. You will usually find Anthony out in nature with his dog, Bert, riding his Ducati and quoting memorable moments from movies and TV shows.
