Andrea Silva is an Associate in the Dallas office of BAL. She is experienced in nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters as well as family-based immigration. Currently, she focuses on immigrant visa matters such as petitions for extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers and multinationals, NIW petitions and PERM. Andrea advises clients on case and program strategies ensuring compliance with changing laws or policy while still meeting their business objectives. Prior to joining BAL, Andrea practiced at boutique immigration law firms where she worked with professional athletes including award-winning professional jockeys, polo players and MLB baseball players. During and after law school, Andrea was involved with the USD Immigration Clinic working on family and humanitarian-based cases. Coming from a family of immigrants, she feels strongly that immigrants contribute to the prosperity of the country; it is her great pleasure to assist them with their immigration journey. Andrea is passionate about giving back to her local community and spends time volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House and serving victims of human trafficking and individuals experiencing homelessness. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys going to concerts, hiking and growing in her faith.
