Immigration News - Document Authentication, Temporary Work Status (TPS), Work permit United States | USCIS extends validity of work permits for TPS beneficiaries from five countries Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) June 21, 2024 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that it is extending the validity of certain employment authorization documents for Temporary Protected Status beneficiaries from El Salvador, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua and Sudan. Key Points: The extension is valid through March 9, 2025 for certain EADs for TPS beneficiaries under the designations of El Salvador, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua and Sudan. Affected beneficiaries will receive a Form I-797, Notice of Action with information about the extension. Additional Information: To keep TPS benefits, current TPS beneficiaries under one of the five designated countries who have not reregistered for TPS under the most recent extension for that designation must submit Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status.
