Immigration News - Immigration fees, United States United States | Reminder: USCIS will reject forms with incorrect fees after Aug. 21 Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) August 6, 2025 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services published a Federal Register Notice in July announcing a series of immigration fees to be collected under the H.R. 1 Reconciliation Bill. Any form postmarked on or after Aug. 21, 2025, without the proper filing fee will be rejected. Key Points: USCIS published a July 22 edition of the immigration fee schedule (Form G-1055) with updated filing and additional fees for various immigration-related forms. These fees will apply to certain immigration benefit requests postmarked on or after July 22, 2025. Forms submitted without the correct fees after Aug. 21, 2025, will be rejected. USCIS notes that “certain filers may qualify for a fee waiver for certain forms. To determine your eligibility for a fee waiver, please review Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver.” Form I-912 was also updated on July 22. USCIS will accept prior editions (or a written request).
