Immigration News - Global mobility, Asia-Pacific, Taiwan Taiwan | Entry restrictions and visa control measures implemented in response to Ebola outbreak Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) June 1, 2026 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Taiwan is implementing entry restrictions and visa control measures on residents of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda in response to the Ebola disease outbreak in these countries. Key takeaways: These measures are in effect for a period of 90 days, starting from June 2, 2026. Visa issuance to residents of the DRC and Uganda is suspended and individuals from these countries who have already obtained visas will be denied entry into Taiwan.
