Immigration News - Taiwan COVID-19: Quarantine requirement shortened Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) June 17, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM Taiwanese authorities have announced that they are shortening the COVID-19 quarantine requirement. Key Points: Beginning June 15, travelers arriving in Taiwan must undergo a three-day quarantine at home or in a quarantine hotel. Those who are entering Taiwan before June 15 must still quarantine for seven-days. Travelers will be required to complete self-health management for an additional four days after the mandatory quarantine ends. Those entering Taiwan must complete the online health form within 48 hours before departure, have proof of a negative PCR test taken within two days before their scheduled flight and take a PCR test upon arrival. Individuals can leave to work or buy necessities after the fourth day of mandatory quarantine if they have proof of a negative rapid test. Additional Information: Family members who are traveling together can quarantine together in their home, a relative’s residence, or in the same room at a quarantine hotel when available.
