Immigration News - Sweden COVID-19: Entry ban to be lifted Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) March 29, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The Swedish government has announced that it will lift its entry ban on countries from outside the EU and European Economic Area (EEA) in April. Key Points: Beginning April 1, travelers from outside the EU and EEA will no longer face any COVID-19 related entry requirements when entering Sweden. Travelers from outside EU, and EEA will no longer be required to have proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or show a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival. Additional Information: As of Feb. 9, Swedish authorities had lifted COVID-19 entry requirements for EU, EEA and Nordic countries.
