Sri Lanka offers tourist visa extensions for Ukrainian, Russian nationals

The Sri Lankan government has announced it will offer tourist visa extensions for Ukrainian and Russian nationals.

Key Points:

• Ukrainian and Russian nationals who were in Sri Lanka on or before Feb. 28 are now eligible to receive a visa extension valid for one month.
• Eligible individuals must apply online or visit the office of the Department of Immigration and Emigration to receive the extension.

Additional Information: Ukrainian and Russian nationals had received an automatic tourist visa extension for two months prior to this announcement. More information regarding the tourist visit visa extension is available here.
