E-7 visa applicants must now submit original, apostilled copies of the required documents. Implementation time frame: March 18 Visas/permits affected: E-7 work visa. Who is affected: E-7 visa applicants and employers. Impact on processing times: Employers should plan for an additional 2-3 weeks for document collection. Next steps: All supporting documents, such as employment contracts and educational certificates, must be submitted in their original form and must be apostilled. The documents, which will be held by authorities while completing the application, will not be returned to the applicant.
