Key Points: Foreign national employees in the Greater Seoul area will be allowed to freely move to other provinces while changing jobs. Previously, foreign workers had only been allowed to change workplaces within the region where they received their initial work permits. The goal is to alleviate labor shortages in non-metropolitan cities and regions. The ban on transferring from a non-metropolitan area to the Seoul metropolitan area was retained.
