South Africa and Angola are set to implement a visa-free travel arrangement that will allow for visa-free travel for up to 90 days per year, provided each visit is 30 days or less. What does the change mean? Effective Dec. 1, South African and Angolan nationals will be able to visit each other’s countries without first obtaining a visa. Implementation time frame: Dec. 1. Visas/permits affected: Visa waiver/exemption. Who is affected: South African and Angolan nationals traveling between the two countries. Impact on processing times: The changes will save individuals the time it takes to obtain a visa before travel.
