IMPACT – MEDIUM
What is the change? South Africa and Angola are set to implement a visa-free travel arrangement that will allow for visa-free travel for up to 90 days per year, provided each visit is 30 days or less.
What does the change mean? Effective Dec. 1, South African and Angolan nationals will be able to visit each other’s countries without first obtaining a visa.
BAL Analysis: The visa waiver is welcome news as it will make travel between South Africa and Angola significantly easier for frequent travelers, including business visitors. Those with questions about what activities are permitted on the visa waiver should contact BAL.
