Immigration News - Slovakia New visa options made available to non-EU nationals Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) December 13, 2022 IMPACT — MEDIUM The Slovakian government recently introduced new visa options for non-EU nationals. Visa for Relocated Employees: Non-EU nationals who are being transferred from their company to the same company’s location in Slovakia can apply for this visa if they either: Are an executive or manager. Hold a position that requires specialized professional knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications or experience. Individuals must be paid at least double the national average salary or more than €2,266 per month. Visa for Highly Qualified Foreign Nationals: Non-EU nationals can apply for the visa for highly qualified individuals if they completed one of the following: A master’s degree from university in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. A degree from a higher education institution listed here. A master’s or doctorate degree from a higher education institution and will be employed by a Slovakian company listed here. Additional Information: Foreign nationals can expect to receive their visa for aforementioned categories within one to four months from beginning the application process.
