The Foreign Police has launched an online scheduling system for residence permit and registration appointments. What does the change mean? Employees can request appointments online and will be allocated a time slot for some time within the following 30 days. Implementation date: April 17, 2019. Visas/permits affected: New and renewal residence permits; registration. Who is affected: Foreign nationals who plan to submit their applications for Residence Permit, register their residency or apply for Residence Card through Foreign Police in Slovakia. Next steps: Employers should expect delays and potential scheduling errors while the system is new. Analysis & Comments: The online system will be convenient for employees as they will no longer have to wait for appointment slots at the Foreign Police office.
