Immigration News - Nigeria New guidelines provided on expatriate quota requirements Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) February 8, 2022 The Nigerian government has new provided guidance on the administration of expatriate quota requirements. Key Points: As of Jan. 24, companies and organizations granted expatriate quota positions must: Submit letters of approval for Permanent Until Reviewed (PUR) status to the Office of the Deputy Director of the Citizenship and Business Department by Feb. 28 if they have been granted PUR status. Submit monthly returns on the use of approved expatriate quota positions on this website; in-person and paper submissions will no longer be accepted. Send a formal letter to the Office of the Deputy Director of the Citizenship and Business Department that provides updated contact information for their employees. Additional Information: Companies that fail to submit PUR approval letters by Feb. 28 will lose PUR status. Updated contact information letters must include the individual’s full name, position, official email address, phone numbers, mailing address, two copies of a recent passport photograph and a copy of the individual’s official identity card.
