What is the change? Employees of Israel’s Ministry of Interior have stopped work under a labor union directive.
What does the change mean? The duration of the strike has not been announced. Although recent strikes have tended to be short, employers should be aware that immigration processes could be delayed.
Background: During the strike, Ministry of Interior employees will stop providing all services. Employers and applicants are also reminded that Israel government offices will be closed April 22-30 for Passover.
