COVID-19: Additional vaccination certificates accepted

The Japanese government has added to its list of countries from which it is accepting COVID-19 vaccination certificates.

• As of June 9, Japanese authorities recognize vaccination certificates from over 100 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the U.S. and most EU countries.
• Regardless of a traveler’s departure country, individuals must have proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before departure to enter Japan.
