Immigration News - Ireland COVID-19: Testing requirements increased for UK travelers Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) December 14, 2021 The Irish government has published new guidance for individuals traveling to Ireland from Great Britain. Key Points: Travelers from Great Britain are now advised to take daily antigen tests for the first five days of arrival. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival. Fully vaccinated or previously recovered travelers must have either a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours of arrival or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival. The change does not affect travel from Northern Ireland. Additional Information: Individuals who are traveling to Ireland, regardless of their vaccination status, must complete the Passenger Locator Form before departure.
