Second Express Entry draw to apply for permanent residency in Canada Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) January 24, 2018 IMPACT – MEDIUM Canada conducted its second Express Entry draw of the year Wednesday, issuing 2,750 invitations to apply for permanent residency. The lowest qualifying Comprehensive Ranking System score was 444. The number of invitations was the same as it was in draws on Nov. 15, Dec. 6, Dec. 20 and Jan. 10. The lowest qualifying score was down two points from the past two draws. Wednesday’s draw was the sixth since Canada instituted a new tie-breaking rule, where candidates with the same Comprehensive Ranking System score will be ranked by the order in which their profiles were submitted.
