Immigration News - South Korea COVID-19: Visa-free entry to be allowed into Jeju Province Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) May 16, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The South Korean government has announced that it will reinstate visa-free entry into Jeju Province for certain foreign nationals Key Points: Beginning June 1, foreign nationals from countries that are eligible for Korea Electronic Travel Authorization, or K-ETA, will be able to enter the country without a visa. A full list of counties eligible for the program is available here. Foreign nationals from 24 designated countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, among others, will not be eligible for visa-free entry. Travelers who are eligible for K-ETA can submit applications through this website. Additional Information: Eligible individuals can travel under K-ETA for tourism, visiting relatives or to participate in events, meeting or other non-profitable business activities. More information regarding the K-ETA program is available here.
