The Philippines government recently shortened quarantine policies for fully vaccinated foreign nationals and updated entry restrictions for spouses, dependents and parents of Filipino citizens.

Key Points:

  • As of July 26, quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travelers arriving from a green-list country have been reduced from 14 days to a seven-day, facility-based quarantine if they meet the following requirements:
    • Arrived from a green-list country.
    • Stayed in a green-list country for at least 14 days before entering the Philippines.
    • Are fully vaccinated and the vaccination was verified by Filipino authorities upon arrival.
  • Foreign nationals will have to undergo a 10-day, facility-based quarantine and a four-day, home quarantine in the following cases:
    • Arrived from a country not on the green-list.
    • Traveled to a country not on the green-list within 14 days of entering the Philippines.
    • Are not fully vaccinated or the vaccination cannot be verified by Filipino authorities upon arrival.
  • Beginning Aug. 1, foreign spouses, children and parents of Filipino citizens with valid tourist visas may enter the country without an entry exemption document.
