The Peruvian government recently updated its entry restrictions for Peruvians, residents and non-resident foreigners.

Key Points:

  • As of Sept. 25, Peruvian citizens, resident foreigners and non-resident foreigners traveling to the Peru from any country must:
    • Have a negative molecular test taken within 72 hours of departure.
  • Authorities suggest that individuals be fully vaccinated and show their vaccine records.
  • Non-resident foreigners traveling from or who have been in South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival in Peru are barred from entering the country until at least Oct. 3.
    • Peruvians and resident foreigners who are traveling from or who have been in South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
