The Japanese government has announced that it will reduce its entry and quarantine requirements affecting business travelers and students.
Key Points:
Additional Information: Individuals traveling from countries with virus variants of concern must adhere to additional health and quarantine requirements. International travelers must have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure to be allowed to enter the country. A full list of countries and additional requirements can be found here.
BAL Analysis: Traveling to Japan for business purposes will be easier for many business travelers due to the reduced quarantine requirements. Individuals traveling to Japan should be aware of other health requirements to enter the country.
