BAL Analysis: A number of countries continue to impose travel restrictions from India because of COVID-19. While the Bureau of Immigration issued a circular stating that visas and stay stipulation periods will automatically be extended, foreign nationals may wish to submit applications on the e-FRRO portal prior to the expiration of their visas if they are stranded in India.
