Immigration News - United Kingdom EU citizens’ rights tops Brexit agenda Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) July 3, 2017 The U.K. government released its proposed offer on EU citizens’ rights last week. While the proposal on EU citizens’ rights does nothing to immediately change the status of EU nationals currently living and working in the U.K., it does offer insight into the type of immigration regime and requirements the U.K. government is contemplating for EU nationals. In light of the new proposal, BAL anticipates a simpler process for EU nationals to apply for permanent residence as well as several other changes.
