BAL is proud to sponsor the 2026 WERC Global Conference, taking place Oct. 27-30 in Chicago, Illinois. Immigration shouldn’t feel like a fun house. That’s why BAL remains committed to guiding employers through every twist and turn, helping organizations keep their workforce moving forward in an ever-changing environment.
Visit us at booth 616 to connect with BAL partners Rob Caballero, Tiffany Derentz, Kelli Duehning, Gabe Mozes, Stephanie Pimentel and Jason Rogers, along with BAL’s Growth & Strategy team Amy Cowley, Joe Glauber and Melissa Harms to learn how BAL can support your organization’s global mobility needs.
Throughout WERC Global 26 and the Immigration Summit, BAL will take center stage, sharing insights on some of the most important developments shaping corporate immigration today.
During the Immigration Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., corporate leaders across the mobility industry will hear from BAL attorneys Kelli Duehning and Justin Storch on the current state of corporate immigration around the world and strategies for supporting foreign national populations during times of unpredictability.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., BAL partners Kelli Duehning and Stephanie Pimentel will lead a session alongside in-house experts from Oracle to discuss the topic “Through the looking glass: How to effectively communicate immigration data to executives.” In immigration programs, it’s easy to feel surrounded by data that keeps multiplying. But when it’s time to brief executives, that data often falls down the rabbit hole. This interactive workshop helps HR, mobility and immigration leaders find their way through the maze.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, from 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m., BAL partner Tiffany Derentz will lead a session alongside Dennis Sprekle (Director, Workforce & Human Resources, FIFA World Cup 2026) and Jessica Valenzuela (Senior Counsel, Legal Compliance, FIFA World Cup 2026) to discuss “Beyond the match: The immigration and logistics behind the FIFA World Cup.” This timely session will explore the complex immigration and operational planning required to move athletes, coaches, media professionals, sponsors, contractors and event staff across borders and into host cities.
