Devis Velasquez

Devis is an Associate in BAL’s Houston office, where she advises clients on employment-based immigration matters, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visas.

Prior to joining BAL, Devis practiced at a corporate immigration law firm, handling a variety of employment-based immigration matters for employers across a broad range of industries.

Originally from El Salvador, Devis has seen firsthand the struggles that many immigrants face when trying to establish themselves in the U.S. As such, immigration law is very personal to her. With her extensive professional and personal experience in the field, Devis is committed to providing exceptional, empathetic service to her clients. Outside of work, Devis likes to read and spend time with her three dogs.
