Immigration News - Immigration fees, Work authorization Trump, United States United States | Immigration fee schedule update includes new employment authorization application fee and biometric services fee Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) August 1, 2025 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced it published a July 31, 2025, edition of the Form G-1055, Fee Schedule, that includes the addition of a fee for certain employment authorization applications and a biometric services fee for certain Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) forms. Key Points: The Form G-1055 update includes additional fees for those filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, under the Family Reunification Task Force (FRTF). The additional fees range from $275 to $550. The new biometric services fee, noted as $30 per person, was added to the following EOIR forms: EOIR-40, Application for Suspension of Deportation EOIR-42A, Application for Cancellation of Removal for Certain Permanent Residents EOIR-42B, Application for Cancellation of Removal and Adjustment of Status for Certain Nonpermanent Residents The updated July 31, 2025, edition of Form G-1055 can be found here. Additional Information: The FRTF was established in 2021 to facilitate the reunification of families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border.
