How to prepare your organization for USCIS site visits

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has the authority to verify information included on H-1B and L-1 petitions through telephonic and electronic methods, and through on-site inspections of worksites, also known as “site visits.”

USCIS has outlined a plan to expand site visits and stated they will “make unannounced and random visits to  all  H-1B employers across the country, both before and after any petition is adjudicated.”

Officials from USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) may arrive at any company location, so it’s crucial to proactively prepare your front desk staff, foreign national employees and any other potential stakeholders.
