What is the change? India has eased rules on the number of times travelers may use e-visas.
What does the change mean? Travelers may enter India using an e-visa up to three times during a calendar year (January through December), instead of the current limitation of two times per year.
Analysis & Comments: The change is a welcome development in India’s continuing efforts to expand the use of e-visas. Travelers are reminded that business e-visas remain inappropriate for productive work; those intending to conduct work activities must apply for an appropriate employment visa.
