IMPACT – LOW
What is the change? Employers hiring foreign candidates for jobs that require a Labour Market Impact Assessment will be required to use the Job Match service as part of their job advertising on Job Bank.
What does the change mean? The Job Match feature compares candidates’ profiles against job postings and rates their compatibility on a scale of one to five.
BAL Analysis: Employers should be aware of new Job Match requirements for future LMIAs for both high-wage and low-wage jobs.
