Key Points: Foreign nationals must now pay 370 AED (about US$100), increased from 270 AED, for a new Emirates ID card that is valid for two years. Foreign nationals must now pay 370 AED, increased from 270 AED, and an additional 50 AED travel insurance fee for a one-month visit visa. UAE authorities did not increase the fees for issuing new passports, the renewal or replacement of identity cards or for dependent-related documents. A full list of fees for visa services is available on this website. Additional Information: Fees may vary based on company’s establishment, travel agency and tourism company license qualification. BAL Analysis: Employers and employees should note the 100 AED fee increases for obtaining new Emirates ID cards and one-month visit visas and plan accordingly.
