Immigration News - Taiwan COVID-19: Arrival quota increased, entry requirements eased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) July 12, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM Taiwanese authorities have increased their weekly arrival quota and announced that they will ease Taiwan’s COVID-19 entry requirements. Key Points: As of July 7, Taiwanese authorities will allow 40,000 international arrivals per week instead of 25,000. Beginning July 14, Republic of China (R.O.C.) nationals, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) holders and transit passengers will no longer be required to have a negative PCR test result taken within two delays before departure to enter Taiwan. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 while abroad cannot fly to Taiwan for seven days. Additional Information: Upon arrival in Taiwan, travelers must continue to quarantine for three days at home or in a quarantine hotel and complete self-health management for an additional four days after the mandatory quarantine ends.
