Immigration News - Taiwan COVID-19: Quarantine requirement shortened Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) May 4, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM Taiwanese authorities have announced that they are shortening the COVID-19 quarantine requirement. Key Points: Beginning May 9, travelers arriving in Taiwan must undergo a seven-day quarantine at a quarantine hotel. Those who are entering Taiwan before May 9 must still quarantine for 10 days at a quarantine hotel. Travelers will be required to complete self-health management for another seven days after the mandatory quarantine ends. Those entering Taiwan must take a PCR test upon arrival and take a rapid test on the last day of the hotel quarantine. Additional Information: Family members who are traveling together can quarantine together in their home, a relative’s residence, or in the same room at a quarantine hotel when available.
